Homecoming Spirit Week Dress Up Days- October 7-11, 2019Mardi Gras Mask and Chain

  • Monday- Opposite Day (wear your clothes on the opposite side (backwards or inside out), wear opposite shoes.
  • Tuesday-  Mardi Gras Beads/Chain Day
  • Wednesday- Throwback/Choose your Decade Day (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, etc)
  • Thursday- Pink Out Day (Students and staff wearing pink will gather in the front lawn for the Annual “Red & White Goes Pink” Picture)
  • Friday- Spirit Day/Wear your class colors (Bring lots of spirit to support the Fighting Falcons)

After School Activities during Homecoming week

  •  Wednesday, October 9th- Battle of the Classes Field Day- 4 pm -5:30 pm
    Admission for students: current student ID, non perishable food item or a pair of socks
  • Thursday, October 10th–  Powder Puff Game-  Kick-off @ 6:30 pm
    Admission:  $2 per person all ages
  • Friday October 11thPep Rally during 4th period (all participants will need a current student ID)

Join the Seventy-First High School in recognizing the graduating class of 2019 at the Senior Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 20, 2019 @ 6:00 pm at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Raeford Road. Senior Awards NightThe  seniors are honored and recognized for awards and scholarships they have earned while at Seventy-First High School.These includes:

  • Any and all scholarships received
  • Highest honor graduates
  • Academic awards
  • Senior department awards/cords
  • Any other special awards and/or scholarships.

All graduating class of 2019 are required to attend this event. Graduating students  must dress appropriately, complete with cap and gown. Faculty,  parents and relatives of the graduating students are invited to attend.
