Communications with Foreign Language
- To enable students to be competitive in a global society 
- To promote global awareness and cross-cultural understanding 
- To focus on developing communication skills with an emphasis on the study of Spanish 
- To support students’ ability to contribute to the ever-changing global community. 
- Spanish instruction beginning in Kindergarten 
- Enhancement of communication skills by developing multicultural understanding and experiences 
- Promotes acceptance of different nationalities of people by developing an understanding of their cultures and customs 
- Essential foreign language communication skills will enable students to compete in a global society 
- Every child (K-2) receives one 35 minute class of Spanish instruction each week 
- Use of Spanish is incorporated in schoolwide areas such as: announcements, Bear News Network, parent reports/letters, parent newsletter, parent-student handbook, and student performance program
