NCWorks NextGen In-School Youth program is designed to help students gain valuable work experience. This free program offers paid opportunities, including work experiences, on-the-job training, and apprenticeships. I'm looking for motivated students (ages 14-21) who face barriers to employment and would benefit from work-based learning. Your help is crucial in identifying these students.
Student must be:
Between 14-21 years old
Currently enrolled in school
From a low-income household or high-poverty area
And meet at least one of the following:
Basic skill deficient
English language learner
Justice-involved offender
Homeless, in foster care, or runaway
Pregnant or parenting
Have a disability or IEP
